AAR Racing Gear is a non traditional racing safety gear retailer located in the Washington DC area of northern Virginia, USA. The Company sells products in four ways: in our showroom, on-line, and via a network of track dealers.

Although the company sells safety gear for all types of auto racing, AAR Racing Gear specializes in racing safety gear for children. The company was founded in 2000 by Gary Miller, M.D., a board certified Pediatric Neurologist with a passion for racing.  Dr. Miller combined his knowledge of racing and his professional commitment to the health and safety of children into a worldwide resource for racing safety products and information.

The company stocks a wide selection of sizes, from child's small through adult extra extra large. They also work with a number of racing gear manufacturers to encourage the production of innovative safety gear that meets the needs of AAR Racing Gear's customers. The AAR Racing Gear staff focuses on improving the consumer's overall knowledge of racing safety procedures by working closely with them to select the most appropriate types and sizes of safety gear. Their expertise has been highlighted in a variety of industry-wide publications, including articles in National Karting News, Coast2Coast, WKA and Performance Business magazines.
