The Bell BR-1 is designed for the next generation of racer, combining futuristic styling and all-purpose performance. The BR-1 features an extra large eyeport, rear facing vents and a full venturi ventilation system for improved air flow. As air flows over the helmet, the venturi effect increases cooling inside the helmet and prevents shield fogging by creating a vacuum to pull airflow through the helmet. The helmet's recessed forehead vents and rear facing side chin bar vents provide ventilation while not allowing dirt to enter into the helmet.

An effective helmet is one that fits properly. Have an assistant use a measuring tape, or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head starting at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, around a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement, and finally wrapping back to the front. It is a good idea to take several measurements to make sure you have the largest one.
