Description
The Bell BR-1 Racing Helmet is the first truly multi-purpose helmet to be designed specifically for racing markets. A Venturi-style ventilation system that helps "suck" air into the helmet. Bell takes advantage of this superior ventilation with bolt-on Top and/or Side Fresh Air options (available separately) to allow for a completely custom configuration. A duck-bill style chin spoiler makes this helmet usable in any open-wheel environment, while rear facing side vents excels at the dirt-track by preventing dirt from entering the helmet. Finally, the large eyeport insures optimal comfort for all drivers.

Sizing
An effective helmet is one that fits properly. Have an assistant use a measuring tape, or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head starting at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, around a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement, and finally wrapping back to the front. It is a good idea to take several measurements to make sure you have the largest one.
