Racing Safety Equipment - Rating Options
The two most important racing safety equipment rating systems are "Snell" ratings and "SFI" ratings. A "Snell" rating designates the most appropriate helmet for different uses, and a "SFI" rating designates the fire resistance of each piece of racing apparel.
You can use the list below to check the ratings offered in each racing safety equipment category, and then review your racing sanctioning group's safety gear requirements to determine which rating you need.

New G-Force Racing Helmet for Juniors
The G-Force Racing Helmet for juniors weighs slightly over 2 pounds, making it the lightest racing helmet currently available. This lighter weight and proportionately smaller size is particularly important to avoid putting unnecessary stress on the head and neck of young drivers.
The G-force Junior Helmet provides three different sized removable pads to allow the helmet to accommodate a child's growing head. Unlike other junior helmets, the soft Nomex cheek pads snap securely into place, and are accompanied by a number of different depth foam liners for the inside top of the helmet. The hypoallergenic flame retardant liner has reverse stitched interior seams to avoid irritating tender skin, and has an impressive SFI rating of 24.1.
G-Force has included thoughtful details like ample ventilation, a user-friendly shield system and a downforce chin bar to give more aero stability.
The helmet is approved for use in most kids' racing series, including quarter midgets.
Best of all, the retail price of $249.99 is significantly lower than comparable helmets! Go G-Force racing!
